Real property is land and anything that is a permanent structure on that land.

Intellectual
Intellectual property is a type of personal property that is treated differently by the law. These are usually creative works typically protected by a copyright or patent law.

Personal
Personal property can be transported from place to place, and can either be tangible or intangible. Can be purchased, manufactured, gifted, or sometimes found.

List two characteristics each of real, intellectual, and personal property.
Do owners of real, intellectual, and personal property each have the same rights under the law?
List how each type of property is treated under the law.
Explain why it is in the best interest of society to treat these types of property the same or differently.
